North West Autos Blackburn offer a 3 month warranty with all car sold. This is our own in house warranty back by North West Autos Blackburn. Please read below details of what is covered to give you peace of mind.


During the specified period of 3 months/3000 miles all the original manufacturers major mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle are covered against breakdown (This means complete failure of the component part not end of life issues), this primarily covers engine, gearbox, ECU’s, Fuel systems, Drive-train, Clutch (failure), air conditioning, Turbo Charger, Steering, Braking system, Timing belt  and major electrical components, except those listed under exclusions.


Chassis, bodywork, interior and exterior trim, locks, glass, tyres, batteries, exhaust systems, fuel tanks, brake pads/discs, wiring looms, road wheels, cleaning of fuel lines, injectors, oil seals, satellite navigation, seized brake calipers, all service items, heater elements, centralized locking pumps, car telephone, air bags, sensors, keys. Air conditioning recharging, anti-freeze, lubricants, filters, transmission fluids, external oil or fluid leaks, hardware e.g. bolts and fixings, pulleys/ dampers, serviceable and ancillary items. Instrument gauges, in car entertainment/DVD systems, parking sensors, vehicle clutch, vehicle alarm systems and all general wear and tear replacement items.

However, North West Autos Blackburn will be more than happy to offer a trade price repair on any of the above.

The warranty does not cover wear and tear, damage caused by negligence, i.e. insufficient oil or water, overheating, failure to ensure that minimum damage is incurred by taking preventative measures.

Please note due to high insurance premiums no replacement vehicle is provided while your car is being repaired, however a vehicle can be arranged at extra cost to you. (this will be via a local hire company) . 

How to make a claim:

If your vehicle suffers a mechanical breakdown, please check carefully to establish that the fault is covered.

All work is to be carried out by North West Autos Blackburn; any work carried without authorisation will not be reimbursed (unless written confirmation has been given) and could lead to your guarantee being cancelled or void.

This does not affect your statutory rights
